I offer both individual and group tuition for students studying at GCSE and A Level through to foundation, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels. My sessions generally run online but I am happy to discuss face-to-face tuition needs. Whether you are looking for subject-specific support, help with assessment preparation and exams, or more general study skills and confidence building, I can offer sessions that suit you and that work at your pace.

Subject-specific support
I am a Humanities specialist with experience working and studying across disciplines including American Studies, English Literature, Film Studies, History, and Media Studies. Assessment and general study support
Mastering approaches to academic study and developing confidence in your ability to demonstrate your learning and skills development is an essential part of your studies and vital for your academic success. Here are some of the ways I can support you to succeed…
- General study skills support (for example, support with referencing, research approaches and proposals, academic writing, organising and developing academic arguments, and more);
- Assessment and exam preparation;
- Essay writing (including feedback on drafts);
- Dissertation writing (including feedback on drafts);
- Doctoral viva preparation;
- Academic coaching and confidence building (including public speaking, for example working towards presentations or conference papers);
- University admissions – writing your personal statement;
- ‘Levelling up’ support – helping with transitions between levels of study, including A Level to degree study, between Levels 4, 5 and 6 of undergraduate study, and from undergraduate to postgraduate study;
- Preparing for life after graduation – successfully articulating the value of your studies and skillset in job applications, CVs and covering letters, and interviews.
